Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 October 2026

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy describes how CertifiCafé (“we”, “us”) processes personal data collected through the European landing page (eu.certificafe.com) and the case study download form.

Controller: CertifiCafé — Alfredo Chaves, Espírito Santo, Brazil. Contact: mauro@certificafe.com.br / tecnologia@certificafe.com.br.

2. Data we collect

When you request the case study, we collect: name, company, work email, phone number, language preference, and your consent confirmation.

We may also collect technical data needed to operate the site securely (for example IP address for rate limiting and spam protection, and a simple maths captcha answer).

3. Purpose and legal basis

We process your data to: (a) send you the requested case study PDF by email; (b) contact you about CertifiCafé products and services related to that request; and (c) keep basic records of the request.

Legal basis: your consent (you may withdraw it at any time). Where applicable under the GDPR and Brazil’s LGPD (Law 13.709/2018), processing is based on consent and/or legitimate interest in responding to a commercial enquiry you initiated.

4. How we use and share data

Your data is used by CertifiCafé’s commercial and technology teams. We send transactional email through our SMTP provider using the address naoresponda@app.certificafe.com.br.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with service providers strictly needed to operate email delivery and hosting, under confidentiality obligations.

5. Retention

We keep lead data for as long as needed to manage the commercial relationship arising from your request, or until you ask us to delete it, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. International transfers

CertifiCafé is based in Brazil. If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom or Switzerland, your data may be transferred to Brazil and processed there. We take measures appropriate to the context of a B2B enquiry you submitted voluntarily.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

In Brazil (LGPD), you may also request confirmation of processing, anonymisation, portability (where applicable) and information about sharing. To exercise your rights, email tecnologia@certificafe.com.br or mauro@certificafe.com.br.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (HTTPS, form validation, honeypot, rate limiting and captcha) to protect data against unauthorised access or misuse. No method of transmission over the Internet is fully secure.

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
